Dear National Archives,

I'm seeking a 1:50,000 or smaller scale map or aerial photo of the area in South Viet Nam where I served in 1970. I've been told you can provide such a map.

My unit, Combined Action Platoon 2-7-2 of the 2nd Combined Action Group, USMC, was based in a village with the following map coordinates -- BT 028621. We were about 6 km northwest of the town of Dien Ban, in Quang Nam Province, I Corps. The Defense Mapping Agency maps we used at the time were headed "Dai Loc."

Please send me a map of the area, if available, or tell me where I can find such a map. I would be happy to pay any costs up to $25.
