(This letter from former CAP 2-7-2 member Ken Duncan followed me from my parent’s home in Winfield, Kan., to my new duty station with Range Company, Weapons Training Battalion, Edson Range, Camp Pendleton)

Hi Roch,
Got the picture. Looked like you were going to do some swooping. Those were nice looking threads you had on. You were looking good.
Did you get out of the crotch, or do you have to stay in? I hope you got out, and I hope I do too when I get home.
Not too much going on around here. I’m club manager at CACO. Feels good to skate. Now maybe I’ll rotate. I have started working out in the evening. I was getting a gut just sitting around.
I guess Doc Doggett is home by now. Nelson is getting ready to go home in a few days. I’ve got about 90 days left. Sure seems like a long time.
Take it easy Rocket, and give the girls a kiss for me.
