“Yankee” was working for CAP 2-7-2 as an interpreter when I arrived at the CAP in March, 1970. He was later arrested (June?) as a Viet Cong sympathizer/spy and we never saw him again. I remember Yankee’s translations sometimes caused more confusion than understanding, and he always argued against any aggressive action.
