This poorly lit photo gives some idea of CAP 2 members hanging around the day site in a more rural part of our area. The houses close to Highway 1 tended to be better-built with concrete floors, masonry walls and tile or tin roofs. This house has a packed dirt floor and woven matting walls, along with a thatched roof. The wall at left looks like adobe. Dennis “Huck” Prock sits in the doorway at left, while Steve “Frenchy” Pelletier sits at right.
